If you would like to volunteer in your child’s classroom, at school events, or chaperone a field trip you must become an ADDitions volunteer through Orange County Public Schools. Approval can take several weeks, so I always recommend having everyone in your family complete the application at the beginning of the school year, even if they do not think they will be volunteering. You never know when an emergency or opportunity will arise, so better to do it and not need it, than to miss an opportunity that comes up quickly!

Steps:

1. Complete the Online Application at the ADDitions school volunteer site
2. If you are planning to chaperone a field trip, you will also have to complete the Chaperone Application as well.
3. I would like as many volunteers in the classroom as possible, so I’d appreciate it if you’d complete and return the HELP WANTED form, it will help me determine where to best use my volunteers.
